Pathways Counseling Center, Inc. is a nonprofit, comprehensive, non-sectarian agency serving the counties of Northern New Jersey and surrounding communities. We provide a variety of mental health services to families, children, and individuals regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation for the purpose of promoting wellness.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide professional counseling services to individuals and families across the region. We strive to promote wellness and improve the mental health of our clients. We accept most major medical insurance plans, and we also offer a fair ability to pay program for individuals without insurance who qualify.
Our History
Pathways Counseling Center, Inc. informally began in 1980 with two volunteer counselors and a pastor's vision and untold compassion for his parish and the community at large. Since then, the Center has grown to include a doctoral-level Clinical Director, fifteen licensed counselors, and an experienced, compassionate clerical staff.
Our Staff and Services
Our staff consists of professionals holding advanced degrees in various mental health fields. In addition, many have received further training in specializations such as couples and family therapy, parent/child communication, divorce counseling, bereavement, anxiety/depression, and a host of other psychological disorders. We offer a variety of therapy and counseling services, including individual counseling, marital counseling, family counseling, separation and divorce counseling, ADHD/school-related problems, blended/family issues, bereavement, career counseling, and pastoral counseling.

About Our Fees
Our services are often covered by your medical insurance. We also have a fair ability to pay program based on your individual needs at the time of entry. Together, we will develop a mutually acceptable payment schedule.
