Forest Alcohol Drug Counseling Inc. is a SUPR licensed agency deeply committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate services for individuals battling alcohol and drug addiction. Our agency, situated in the heart of the Fores Med-Surg Center in Justice, Illinois, is fully staffed with dedicated professionals ready to meet the diverse needs of our clientele. At Forest Counseling, our therapists and counselors are all licensed and certified in the State of Illinois. We understand the profound impact addiction can have on individuals and families, and we are dedicated to empowering our clients to overcome their challenges and achieve lasting recovery. Understanding that knowledge is power, our agency requires all of our counselors to participate in ongoing advanced training annually. We are proud to serve all Illinois counties and hold esteemed positions on the service provider lists of both Cook County and DuPage County. Our Experienced Team

Forest Counseling Inc. is led by a remarkable team of licensed professionals with decades of combined experience in the field of addiction treatment. Carol Koeneman, LPC, CADC holds both a bachelor's degree from De Paul University and a master's degree from Governors State University. Her impressive 30-year career in addiction counseling makes her a beacon of expertise. Carol is qualified to conduct thorough evaluations encompassing a range of services for DUI cases, court mandates, and Secretary of State requirements.

These services include court and SOS evaluations, substance abuse assessments, addressing denials, and conducting non-DUI evaluations. Carol expertly guides individuals through individual and group counseling, discharge planning, evaluations, and assessment services, as well as risk education classes.

Adding to the depth of our team's expertise is Fran Pukala, LPC, CADC. Fran, a graduate of Chicago State University with both bachelor's and master's degrees, is a certified addictions counselor who provides invaluable risk education classes, facilitates group counseling, conducts intake assessments, and assists with discharge planning. Fran's previous experience at Sladie Waterford facility further enriched her skills, as she provided individual counseling to both children and families.

Together, Carol Koeneman and Fran Pukala possess over 40 years of dedicated service in the field of addiction treatment.
