Strengthening Families, Strengthening Our Community
Hello, and welcome to our therapy practice. I am Ryan Oetting, a licensed counseling psychologist based in Brentwood, Tennessee. I am dedicated to providing professional and compassionate counseling services to individuals in the Nashville area. My office is a warm and safe space where you can bring your worries and challenges, knowing that you will be met with respect, understanding, and support.
Services Offered
As a counseling psychologist, I specialize in individual therapy with adults facing a variety of concerns, such as:
- Anxiety: If anxiety is preventing you from living your life to the fullest, therapy can help you learn skills to manage your symptoms and take control of your thoughts and feelings.
- Depression: Depression can be isolating and debilitating. Through therapy, you can explore the underlying causes of your depression and find ways to cope with negative thoughts and feelings.
- Trauma/PTSD: Trauma can have long-lasting effects on your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Therapy can help you process your experiences and heal from the effects of trauma.
- Career Indecision: If you are feeling uncertain about your career path, therapy can provide a safe space to explore your interests, values, and goals, and help you find direction and purpose.
- Low Self-esteem: If you struggle with negative self-talk and low self-worth, therapy can help you build self-compassion and a more positive self-image.
- Grief and Loss: Grief is a natural response to losing someone or something dear to us. Therapy can provide support and guidance as you navigate the complex and often painful process of grief and loss.
- Relationship Concerns: Whether you are struggling with an existing relationship or seeking to improve your communication and connection skills, therapy can be a valuable resource.
- Life Changes: Change can be stressful and overwhelming, but therapy can help you build resilience and adaptability as you face new challenges and transitions.
- History of Abuse: If you have experienced abuse or violence, therapy can provide a safe space to process your experiences and work toward healing and recovery.
- Family of Origin Issues: Our past experiences with family can shape our beliefs, behaviors, and relationships. Therapy can help you understand and address any unresolved issues from your family of origin.
- Spiritual Concerns: If you are seeking spiritual growth and exploration, therapy can provide a supportive environment to explore your beliefs, values, and purpose.
