Individual Counseling

We provide individual counseling for adolescents, young adults, and their families. Our sessions are designed to address a range of common issues, including social skills, peer relationships, anger issues, managing anxiety, and coping with life changes. Our approach is personalized and tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

Parent Consultation and Family Therapy

We offer parent consultation and family therapy to help families manage behavior difficulties, motivate their children, cope with a child's disability, and provide parent assistance and coaching. Our approach is collaborative and focused on finding solutions that work for the entire family.

School-Related Consultation

Dr. Turner has extensive experience working with school systems and has a deep understanding of special education laws (IDEA) that guide public school procedures. He is available to assist parents in preparing for meetings or teacher conferences, provide guidance on appropriate educational considerations and services, consult and collaborate with school staff on the social, emotional, and educational needs of students, and attend Student Support Team (SST) meetings or Individual Education Program (IEP) meetings. He can also provide Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE) when necessary.

He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his doctorate from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Turner has a reputation for being a caring, dedicated, and trusted child psychologist who provides personalized and convenient online sessions. He has expertise in child psychology as well as extensive experience working with school systems. He specializes in mental health and adjustment support for older children, young adults, and their families. Dr. Turner provides support, guidance, and insight on working with school personnel to find solutions for children and their families.
