Unsatisfactory Experience
Many reviewers expressed dissatisfaction with their experience at this practice. They reported encountering unfriendly and unprofessional office staff. Some reviewers had issues with cancellations, feeling that the practice was overly strict and unforgiving. In one instance, a reviewer was given a hard time for cancelling an appointment eight days in advance, and in another instance, the therapist miswrote the appointment date on her calendar, leading to a misunderstanding.
Lack of Compassion
Two reviewers specifically mentioned a lack of compassion and empathy from the practice. One reviewer had recently experienced a traumatic event, including the loss of her home and loved ones, and tried to make an appointment with her therapist, only to be hung up on by the woman answering the phone. This reviewer felt that this behavior was disgusting and shameful.
Exceptional Experience
However, one reviewer had a very different experience. They reported that Lisa DeVries, a therapist at the practice, was the "sweetest woman I have ever met." They praised her professionalism, listening skills, and willingness to work with their schedule. The reviewer felt that the entire staff was welcoming and professional, and that the practice provided a sense of relief after each session.
Friendly Ambiance
Another reviewer praised the friendly staff at the practice, commenting that they had been going there for single father parenting and felt supported throughout their experience.
