Bienvenu Counseling Services

Bienvenu Counseling Services is a 501c non-profit, Christian organization that has been serving Acadiana since 1990. Our mission is to strengthen and support individuals, marriages, and families through professional Christian counseling, enrichment seminars, and educational resources. We are committed to helping people find insight into their relationship issues and life challenges, healing from past hurts, loss, wounds, and trauma, freedom from unhealthy habits, patterns, and addictions, greater connection with God and others, and peace within that is not dependent on circumstances. Our ultimate goal is to help people live more wholehearted, joyful, and fulfilling lives.

At Bienvenu Counseling Services, we are not allied with nor do we endorse any church or denomination. We provide services to people seeking help regardless of their background, race, or religious belief. Our team of experienced and qualified therapists is dedicated to providing compassionate and confidential care to every individual, couple, and family that walks through our doors.

Our Services

We offer a range of counseling services to meet the unique needs of our clients. These services include:

• Individual Counseling: Our therapists provide one-on-one counseling sessions for individuals dealing with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions.
• Couples Counseling: We offer counseling services for couples dealing with communication issues, conflict resolution, infidelity, and other relationship challenges.
• Family Therapy: Our therapists work with families to address communication issues, conflict, and other challenges that affect the family dynamic.
• Specialized Intensives: We offer specialized 3-day intensives for couples and individuals who want or need rapid resolution to problems and issues. These intensives are customized to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Premarital Prep: Our premarital counseling program is designed to help couples prepare for marriage and build a strong foundation for their relationship.
• The SYMBIS Program: We offer the SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) program, which is a comprehensive premarital assessment and counseling program.
• Educational Resources: We provide a variety of educational resources, including books, audio and video resources, and seminars.

Our Team

Our team of therapists is led by Dudley Bienvenu, LCSW, BCPCC, who is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor with over 40 years and 40,000 hours of counseling experience. Dudley's specialty areas include individual psychotherapy, marriage counseling, and substance abuse. Our team also includes Jere Miles, LCSW, BCPCC, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor, and skilled family therapist of over 30 years. Jere specializes in working with young children, adolescents, and their families. Our team also includes Carol Peirce, LPC, BCPCC, who is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's degree in Counseling.
