I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University and a Master of Clinical Social Work degree from Catholic University. My postgraduate training includes certification in Strategic Family Therapy and couples training in Imago Therapy. I have also completed two years of training in Gestalt Therapy.

Before establishing my private practice, I worked as a staff psychotherapist at the Southern Community Mental Health Center in Prince George's County, Maryland, and served on the clinical staff of the Oxon Hill Professional Group in Maryland. I am a proud member of the American Academy of Psychotherapists and the National Association of Social Workers.
