Credentials

Dr. Katerina Sorrell holds a Master of Arts in Counseling with a specialization in Professional Clinical Counseling from Chapman University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor #4909 with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, Psychotherapist, National Board Certified Counselor, and has her Pupil Personnel Services Credential in school counseling. She is also a certified teacher and has extensive experience working with students of all ages.

Expertise

Dr. Sorrell's expertise includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Behavior Modification, and other evidence-based treatment modalities. She is also fluent in English and Spanish, making her services accessible to clients from diverse backgrounds.
