Meet Our Team

*Charles Joel Taylor, Founder and Executive Director*

Holder of a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration on Vocational Rehabilitation from Western Oregon University (2010), and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2014), Mr. Taylor is a Certified Functional Family Therapist in the Functional Family Therapy Model, and a Certified Anger Management Specialist. He is a Certified Counselor with the State of Washington and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the State of Oregon. Throughout his career, Mr. Taylor has consistently provided exceptional services, achieving successful outcomes for clients from diverse backgrounds.

*Kayla Beckman Taylor, Employment Specialist Supervisor*

Ms. Beckman Taylor has been dedicated to Vocational Rehabilitation Services since 2009, working with a wide array of clients possessing unique needs, abilities, and interests. She excels at forming connections with her clients, collaborating with them and local businesses to discover tailored job opportunities, ensuring a compatible match for both the client and employer. Kayla possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Seattle Pacific University and a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University in Portland, and, in addition to Vocational Rehabilitation work, she offers individual and family counseling services.

*Cody Bunse, Office Manager*

Joining Mountain Crest Counseling in 2014, Cody has honed his skills in various roles, such as admin assistant, new hire training/on-boarding, billing coordinator, and office manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Portland State University specializing in Business Administration Management and Human Resource Management. Cody is excited to apply his educational expertise to support Mountain Crest Counseling and its staff in their pursuit of growth and success.

*Ken Price, Business Relations Manager*

Mr. Price boasts a 23-year career in higher education. After earning his BFA degree in Graphic Design and Photography from Humboldt State University, he worked as an Art Director for various advertising agencies in Southern California. Following 20 years of teaching experiences, Ken acquired his MBA in April 2014. In 2015, he joined Mountain Crest Counseling as a Career Coach, Adviser, and Business Relations Manager, drawing upon his extensive experience in business, education, and job placement. Believing firmly that everyone is employable, Ken is passionate about finding the perfect opportunity for each unique individual.
