About Our Therapist
Our therapist, Marcia Weiss, has been in private practice since 1981. She is a highly experienced and skilled therapist who has worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Marcia has a deep understanding of the complexities of human behavior and has developed a unique approach to therapy that is creative, collaborative, and empowering. Her areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, anger, and assertiveness, relationships, body image, and eating issues, as well as creative development and career growth.
Our Approach
At Collaborative Psychotherapy, we believe that therapy should be a collaborative and empowering process. We recognize that each individual has their own unique strengths, struggles, and goals, and we tailor our approach to meet the specific needs of each client. We believe that therapy should be a transformative experience that fosters growth, self-awareness, and personal transformation.
Getting Started
We invite you to take a "consumer approach" to finding a therapist. We offer a free initial interview to give you the opportunity to get to know us and ask the questions that are important to you. This is not a therapy session, but rather an opportunity to get a feel for who we are and how we work. We believe that by taking an active role in your therapy, you will be more likely to achieve your goals and feel empowered throughout the process.
