Strengthening Children, Adults, and Families for a Brighter Tomorrow
Since the dawn of humanity, human beings have looked to the stars for comfort and guidance. At StarHaus Psychotherapy, we believe that just as the stars can guide us in the physical world, so too can we find guidance within ourselves. We strive to help our clients locate their internal guiding stars and use them for navigation in their lives.
Our Approach
At StarHaus Psychotherapy, we specialize in anxiety related to self-worth and identity concerns. We believe that you are the expert on your own life, and our role is to help you locate and utilize the wisdom already within you. Our therapeutic style is influenced by psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and mindfulness-based approaches to healing. We work with both adults and adolescents, and enjoy helping our clients understand and reduce anxiety, cope with change, grow self-love, and establish dynamic self-care practices.
Our therapy practice is built on the belief that a collaborative, compassionate, authentic, and comfortable therapeutic relationship is key to the healing process. We provide a safer place where you can explore the past, create peace in the present, and feel hope for the future. We are committed to ongoing anti-racism work and provide LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapy, creating a loving, open, and non-oppressive environment for all.
