A History of Caring and Support in Putnam County

Pathways Counseling Center has been a pillar of support and guidance for individuals and families facing mental health and substance abuse challenges for over 40 years. Founded in 1970 as Putnam County Mental Health Services, our agency evolved into the comprehensive behavioral health center we are today through mergers and constant expansion of services.

• Comprehensive psychological evaluations
• Crisis intervention and assessments
• Pre-hospital screenings for substance abuse and mental health concerns

Treatment & Support

• Counseling and therapy for various mental health and substance abuse disorders
• Medication management (including referrals)
• Anger management and outpatient programs
• Support groups and peer support networks

Community & Prevention

• Community mental health and substance abuse education
• Presentations to schools and community groups
• Prevention and intervention programs for schools, including the Putnam Adolescent Response Team (SMART)
• Drug-free workplace programs and Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs)
