At Suzette Wasvick Counseling Services, we believe that hope is the only thing stronger than fear. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can heal and grow. Our services are designed to address a wide range of mental health needs, from anxiety and depression to trauma and mood disorders. We also offer specialized services for couples and the LGBTQIA community.

About Our Services

Our services include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, and Animal Therapy. We treat various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders, including borderline personality disorder and bipolar disorder. We also provide support for individuals grieving the loss of a loved one and offer a strong commitment to the LGBTQIA population.

Meet Our Counselor

Suzette Wasvick is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's degree in counseling from South Dakota State University. She has extensive experience working with a variety of clients, including those from Black Hills Works, Black Hills Children's Home, and Behavior Management Systems' Crisis Care. Suzette is a member of the American Counseling Association, a Certified Sexual Offender Treatment Specialist, a member of the Association for Play Therapy, and National Board of Certified Counselors.

Office Locations

We have offices in Hill City and Rapid City. Our Hill City office is located at 280 Main St Suite #14, and our Rapid City office is at 403 National Street Suite #1. Our hours of operation vary by location, but we are available Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm.
