At True Life Resources, our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and transformative environment for individuals and couples to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. As a licensed Marriage and Family Counselor, I, Mark Oelze, have been serving the community for over 35 years, dedicated to helping couples communicate and connect using my proprietary 6-step process, PLEDGEtalk.
As a husband, father, and counselor, I am passionate about empowering individuals and couples to build stronger, more meaningful relationships. My expertise lies in guiding couples through the often-challenging process of resolving conflicts and improving communication. Whether through my online coaching, video courses, or intensive workshops, I aim to provide personalized support and guidance to help couples overcome the obstacles that stand between them and a deeper connection.
Our Story
My wife, Zerrin, and I, have a rich history in Christian counseling and marriage coaching. We met during our graduate studies at Grace College and Seminary in Northern Indiana, where we earned our Master's degrees in Biblical Counseling. We began our counseling ministry, True Life Marriage and Family Counseling, in 2005, after serving as resident counselors at The Vineyard Church in Wichita, Kansas.
The Counseling Process
I believe the counseling process is akin to being shaped by the Master Potter. As a Christian counselor, I believe that God is the ultimate Counselor, and my role is to come alongside individuals and couples, guiding them through the complexities of life, relationships, and faith. Together, we will explore the areas of greatest concern, identify areas that need attention, and work towards personal growth, communication, and conflict resolution.
