Sullivan Counseling LLC is a dedicated mental health counseling practice serving the Des Moines, Windsor Heights, and West Des Moines communities. Qualifications and Experience

Michael Sullivan, LMHC, NCC, is the founder and clinician of Sullivan Counseling LLC. He holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Central College. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Iowa and a National Certified Counselor. Michael is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Humanistic Counselors division of the ACA. He is also an active member of the International OCD Foundation, reflecting his commitment to providing specialized care for individuals with OCD.

Commitment to Accessible Care

Sullivan Counseling LLC understands that access to mental health care is essential. We strive to make our services affordable and accessible to a wide range of individuals. We accept most major insurance plans, including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, United Healthcare, Medicaid/Title 19, and HealthPartners. We also offer a sliding fee scale to assist individuals without insurance or who require financial assistance.
