Providing mental health counseling services in the Manhattan, Kansas area since 2014, she earned a master's degree from Syracuse University and obtained her clinical psychotherapy license in Upstate New York. She has worked in a variety of settings in her tenure as a social worker, including inpatient hospitals, health insurance companies, outpatient mental health clinics, schools, and in primary care. She has worked in public service including county mental health in rural Alabama, and federal service for the Army, department of defense, at Fort Riley, Kansas. She has practiced in several states, and at the highest level of social work licensure (independent psychotherapy practice) in New York, Alabama, and Kansas. She has been a small business owner, in private practice, since 2017.
