Works of Heart Counseling was founded in January 2005 with a single purpose: to help individuals, couples, and groups transform their lives with the power of self-love, family love, intimacy, and emotional health. Led by Patti and Tim, two experienced and caring individuals, the counseling center believes that everyone has a purpose and should feel empowered. The office is warm and inviting, a safe place to build strong relationships with oneself, family, and loved ones. With expertise in various therapeutic services, including EMDR and Brainspotting, Works of Heart Counseling helps individuals embrace the beauty of their inner strength.

Our Counselors

Patti Caparros-Holt, the founder, has walked the journey of pain and trauma in her own life and is passionate about serving and facilitating healing in others' lives and relationships. Tim Holt, a life coach/counselor, focuses on building strong relationships within marriage, including parenting skills, gender differences, and emotional bonds. Both Patti and Tim have extensive training in EMDR and Brainspotting and are dedicated to helping individuals overcome various life challenges.

Services Offered

Works of Heart Counseling specializes in several areas, including Sex Addiction Treatment, Individual Counseling, Spouses and Partners of Sex Addicts Healing, EMDR for Trauma, and Specialized Intensives for couples or individuals. They also offer Phone Groups and Local Groups for Addicts/Spouses, Women's Retreats, and Public Speaking engagements. Their mission is to help men, women, couples, wives/partners, and families heal from sex and pornography addiction, childhood or adult trauma and abuse, love addiction, relationship issues, depression, and other life's difficult issues.
