At Empowered Life, LLC, our mission is to empower women and adoptive families through comprehensive, compassionate counseling and support services. We understand the unique challenges and issues that women and families face, and we are dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming space for them to explore their journey.

Women Services

As fellow women, we recognize the gender-specific challenges, issues, and life events that women encounter. Our women-specific counseling services are designed to empower women to discover their true selves, achieve wellness, and create a fulfilling life based on their own terms. Our services include counseling, support, and coaching to help women navigate various life events, including pregnancy and family planning, adoption, and parenting.

Adoption Services

We believe that adoption is a life-altering event that requires comprehensive guidance and support. Our adoption services include counseling and coaching for expecting parents making an adoption plan for their child, as well as for intended parents seeking to expand their family through adoption. We also provide individualized support services to adoptive parents, focusing on their unique needs and concerns. Our goal is to empower families to create a lifelong connection and build a healthy and balanced relationship with their adopted child.

Adoptive Parenting Support

We believe that adoptive families thrive when parents are equipped to meet the unique needs of their children. Our adoptive parenting support services focus on infant and early childhood mental health, child development, grief and loss, and emotional wellness. Our goal is to promote family empowerment through secure attachments, healthy relationships, open and honest conversations, and acceptance.

Birth Mother Support

We believe that adoption is a life-altering event that has a significant impact on birth mothers. Our birth mother support services focus on the unique needs of birth mothers, including emotional wellness, grief and loss, and achieving personal goals. Our goal is to support birth mothers in their personal journey of healing, self-love, and self-empowerment.

We believe that everyone deserves a safe, welcoming space to explore their journey and make informed decisions. Our services are designed to be user-friendly, virtual, and accessible, allowing clients to engage in sessions from the comfort of their own personal space at a time most convenient for them.

Meet Our Founder

I am Katherine "Kathy" Roth, LCSW, the founder of Empowered Life, LLC. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have been providing therapeutic and support services to women and families since 2009. My passion for equality, women empowerment, reproductive justice, and healthy families motivated me to create Empowered Life, LLC. My approach is to empower clients to achieve personal wellness and create the life they desire.

Professional & Community Involvement

I am committed to professional and community involvement through various speaking events, support groups, conferences, and trainings. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), the Florida Association for Infant Mental Health, the National Foster Parent Association, the Attachment and Trauma Network (ATN), the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence (FCADV), and Women Empowered Global.
