Embrace your journey, find your ground.

A Journey Towards Ground and Acceptance

Every human experiences moments of instability and loss. Whether facing trauma, grief, shifting identity, or simply the overwhelming noise of daily life, the feeling of instability can leave us feeling vulnerable and disoriented. Finding Ground Psychotherapy offers a compassionate and supportive space to explore these experiences and cultivate a deep sense of inner stability.

Our Approach: Exploring Groundlessness with Kindness

Founded on the wisdom of Buddhist psychology, our approach emphasizes the inherent groundlessness of life. We learn to let go of expectations and embrace the ever-changing nature of things. This paradoxical acceptance of "groundlessness" ultimately leads to a profound sense of internal stability.

Our Guiding Principles

  • Client-Centered Care: We believe in collaboration and empowering you to discover your own innate wisdom.
  • Health-Oriented: We address the underlying factors contributing to your struggles, fostering intrinsic health and resilience.
  • Somatic Awareness: We acknowledge the physical manifestation of emotions and utilize techniques to integrate mind and body.

Our Services

Finding Ground Psychotherapy offers a variety of services tailored to your individual needs. We work with you to:

  • Process Trauma and Grief: Learn effective coping mechanisms to manage the effects of past experiences.
  • Embrace Identity Transitions: Explore and affirm your changing identities, free from judgment and societal expectations.
