The power for change is in your hands.
Counseling For Change (CFC) is a rapidly expanding modern treatment facility that is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our clients. We are more than just a building or an agency; we are a team of caring, professional staff and dedicated support personnel who are committed to bringing help, hope, and healing to those in need. Our mission is to provide the best services available to our clients through the use of evidence-based treatment models and a compassionate approach to care.
Our Services
At CFC, we offer a range of services to meet the unique needs of our clients. Our treatment models include The Matrix Model, Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), Gambling Living Skills, Moving On, Healing Trauma, Exploring Trauma, EMDR, Individual and Family Therapy, and various community support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and Gamblers Anonymous. Our team of experienced therapists and support staff work closely with each client to develop a personalized treatment plan that meets their individual needs and goals.
The Matrix Program is designed for use with adult clients who are participating in an outpatient treatment program for alcohol and/or drug abuse. Clients who are experiencing co-occurring disorders can effectively make use of this program, but they may also need additional mental health services. Our approach is grounded in the belief that the power for change is in the hands of our clients.
Our Team
The staff of Counseling For Change is diverse and highly qualified, with most members holding at least a Master's degree in their chosen field. We are also a teaching facility and offer internships to students from the University of Southern Indiana, IVYTech, and other institutions. We believe that ongoing training is an essential part of staff development, and all therapists are offered opportunities to attend seminars and workshops to keep up-to-date on the latest treatment protocols.
Our administrative team is led by CEO Robin Maglinger, a practicing psychotherapist with over seventeen years of clinical supervision experience in psychiatric and addiction disorders. Mr. Maglinger is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana, holding a Master of Social Work from that university. He is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor in the State of Indiana.
Audrey Hatfield serves as Administrative Manager for CFC, where she is responsible for onboarding new staff members, submitting grant proposals, supporting the IT manager, coordinating with our Electronic Medical Records company, training staff on our EMR, and maintaining personnel records and supervising our billing team.
Christy Taylor is an Evansville native who has been with CFC for 11 years. Ms. Taylor has an extensive background serving clients who are in recovery and is trained in Motivational Interviewing and Peer Recovery Support. Ms. Taylor serves as a liaison between counselors and referral sources through written and verbal communication while also overseeing and directing staff in day-to-day operations.
