Our team of licensed therapists, including Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Psychological Associates (LPA), Licensed Marriage and Family therapists (LMFT), and psychologists, provide specialized expertise in various areas, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationships.
Referrals and Appointments
If you or someone you know is in need of counseling, please feel free to contact us at (919) 781-8370 for more information about how we might be able to help. Our staff can provide information about our services, answer questions about mental health concerns, help establish an appointment with one of our counselors, and link you to community resources.
Reduced Fee Program
We understand that not everyone has insurance coverage or can afford to pay the full cost of therapy. That's why we offer a reduced fee program for those without insurance or with limited mental health benefits. Our reduced fee program is designed to be highly affordable, with rates as low as $5 per session.

Unsatisfactory Experience
The reviews describe a mix of positive and negative experiences at New Leaf Behavioral Health. Some reviewers express dissatisfaction with the facility, citing issues with treatment prioritization, pricing, and staff behavior. For instance, Byron Fisher rates the facility 2 stars, stating that it seems to prioritize profits over treatment and that the staff is overly concerned with copayments and threatening to discharge patients who don't adhere to a strict treatment schedule.
Lack of Professionalism
Several reviewers criticize the facility's professionalism, citing unmet deadlines, incorrect information on the website, and unprofessional behavior from staff. For example, Jenni Blair rates the facility 1 star, stating that the practice failed to update its website to reflect changes in services due to the pandemic and that the Clinical Director was unwilling to adapt to changing circumstances.
Positive Reviews
Some reviewers, however, have had positive experiences at New Leaf. Rana J., Stephanie Guyotte, Sonny Wynn, Jessica Griffin, Mackenzie Phillips, and Caroline Hope Griffith all rate the facility 5 stars, praising the staff, private treatment, and useful experiences gained as interns or volunteers. Sonny Wynn, a volunteer, notes that the therapists were friendly and helpful, and that the facility offered a wide range of activities for volunteers.
Lack of Respect
Unfortunately, some reviewers report a lack of respect from the facility, particularly in regards to mental health issues. Your Mama, who rated the facility 1 star, stated that the Clinical Director was uncompassionate and dismissive of suicidal feelings. Maria Fadri similarly reported difficulty in scheduling an appointment and felt unheard and misunderstood by the staff.
