ColWen Counseling Services, PLLC, is a premier counseling service provider dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalized counseling to adolescents and adults in the Triangle area of North Carolina. Our mission is to provide a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for individuals to navigate their personal growth and well-being.

Our founder, Gregory R. Fox, LCMHC, is a trained and experienced Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. He has worked in various behavioral health settings in both New Jersey and North Carolina, providing therapeutic and consultation services to adolescents and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma, and workplace issues.

Gregory earned a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ, and his undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, was also earned from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Initially licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey, he has been a licensed counselor (LCMHC #7001) in the state of North Carolina since 2008.

At ColWen Counseling Services, PLLC, we believe that each person is unique and has their own experiences and expectations. Our approach to the counseling process is based on honesty and collaboration, working together in a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment to accomplish and address what is important to you. We focus on Cognitive Behavioral techniques but draw from a variety of theoretical orientations to meet your individual needs.
